About

Chris Ennis  is a fine art photographer based in London, UK.

He’s been photographing the world since he got his first camera - a FED 4 - as a teenager.  He used Pentax 35mm and Mamiya medium format cameras during his years of silver based photography during which he established an enviable reputation for portrait photography.

Recently he has adopted a digital workflow which has proved to be both a liberating and enabling move. He still doesn’t like the rain. Yes that’s a tripod with a panoramic head with Chris’s hat on it to keep it all dry (see picture).

His twin loves of portraiture and  landscape have come together in his trademark landscape portraits, where he melds the two approaches to realise striking images.

Chris travels across the world in order to get his landscapes and photographs a wide variety of people.
